Beautiful Summer Civil Ceremony and Reception Photography at Moorland Mansion | Amanda + Michael

A beautiful summer civil ceremony and reception at Moorland Mansion in Kirtland, Ohio.

Amanda + Michael Married

When we photographed Amanda and Michael’s engagement session last year in Chagrin Falls, we absolutely knew that their day was going to be wonderful. This couple is quite possibly one of the sweetest, and most humble couples that we have ever had the opportunity to work with.

When we asked Amanda to tell us about the wedding day in her own words, she said:

“We want our wedding to be elegant and romantic, but simple and not overdone. The dress is plain and elegant – no lace or beading. The groom’s tux is black and white with a fun custom lining inside the jacket to match the floral/garden theme. There is no bridal party, and the ceremony will be short and sweet. Decorations will be minimal to allow the historic venue to shine. Our ideal wedding will have nice weather, and is hopefully timed for the garden to be full of beautiful blooms – fingers crossed! The venue is beautiful both indoors and outdoors and we hope to take advantage of as much of it as we can!”

Amanda and Michael’s beautiful summer wedding dreams certainly came true. The sky was blue with the most gorgeous fuffy clouds, the flowers were in full bloom, and the weather was mild. It was exactly what they had hoped for, and beyond perfect for a July, outdoor wedding. Along with an intimate group, and officiated by their good friend Pastor Sam Vicente, this amazing couple said their vows in front of the people who mean the world to them. It truly was the perfect day for this perfect pair.
