A Spring Wedding at St. Charles Borromeo Church and the Westin Cleveland Downtown

We had such an fantastic time with Chandler and Jarrod on their big day! We had captured Jarrod’s brother, Josiah, and Jessica’s wedding day a little over six years ago and since then had the pleasure of working with them on many of their family milestones. We absolutely love Jarrod’s family and were extremely excited to get to know Chandler and her family as well.

Chandler and Jarrod each began their preparations at their parents’ homes. Although this many seem relatively typical, it meant so much more to Chandler’s parents who quite literally designed the construction of their home for her special day. Chandler looked stunning in her custom Anne Barge wedding gown as she called down to her father who waited anxiously at the bottom of their grand staircase. The very sight of his breathtaking daughter moved him to tears. The moment that they had prepared for was finally here.

After Chandler and Jarrod’s beautiful Catholic ceremony at St. Charles Borromeo Church in Parma, we made our way downtown for photos, taking advantage of the beautiful weather that we were so fortunate to have. Our first stop was for a few quick shots on the grounds of St. Ignatius, Jarrod’s alma matre, then we headed off to the Cleveland Cultural Gardens. The meticulously manicured landscaping and stonework at the Lithuanian Gardens created the perfect backdrop for this lovely couple and their bridal party.

Our final destination was the Westin Cleveland Downtown where Melanie and her team did a spectacular job of fashioning a sophisticated and elegant look with floral designs from Plantscapings & Blooms, linens by L’Nique and drapery from Party Décor. The evening continued with many laughs, happy tears and one additional special surprise. Thanks to DJ Scott Jones from CLE Music Group, the dance floor was packed and Chandler was able to quietly slipped away. She soon returned to amaze her new husband for the second time in a knock-out Vera Wang gown. The genuine excitement from this reveal was hands-down the best moment from the entire day.

Chandler and Jarrod, it has been such a pleasure working with the two of you over this past year. We are so glad that all of your wedding day dreams came true and we are so honored that we were able to capture them for you. We hope that you love these favorites from your wedding as much as we do.
