A Catholic Ceremony at St. Christopher Church with Reception at the Emerald Event Center in Cleveland

We always love being chosen to capture the wedding photos of siblings, but a major challenge is making sure that they are different from one another. Not too different, but different. It is important to us that the photographs from each wedding day are as special and unique as each of our couples, even if they are siblings.

This couple’s Catholic wedding day was quite different from Jaclyn’s sister’s wedding back in 2016. The weather was cold for one and hot for the other. One ceremony was at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, and the other was at St. Christopher Church. One reception was on the East Side, and the other was on the West Side. The only real similarity had to be the larger-than-life bridal parties, made up of 80% family members, which we have now started to consider part of our own family. It’s hard to describe the joy of being able to work with such an amazing group of people time and time again. It’s so rare that we are able to really connect with a family, but these guys make it so easy.

Jaclyn and Dane’s day couldn’t have gone any smoother. St. Christopher Church was where the bride had been recently confirmed, which made it an even more special location to say their vows. After their beautiful Catholic ceremony, given by Father Tim, we made our first photo location stop at Merry Arts Pub where these two first met. We took a quick shot of this group taking a shot, it was off to Dane’s uncle’s gorgeous home in Avon Lake for more photos before ending our adventure at the Emerald Event Center.

From your engagement session to your wedding day, seeing the two of you together brings us so much happiness. We love watching your faces light up when you look at one another.
