We never met Ashley prior to the wedding. She just saw our work online (must have studied it/stalked us because she knew how to do our secret poses :)), and booked us over the phone for her wedding photography at the Olmsted Community Church in Olmsted Falls, and Springvale Ballroom.
I knew Ashley was a “trooper” when she walked outside in the rain to line up for the processional with a smile on her face. The ceremony was very nice and we were able to dodge some of the raindrops during the wedding photo session outside the church, and at the Olmsted Falls Covered Bridge. As soon as we were done, the skies opened-up!
It’s only a 2 minute drive to Springvale Ballroom, so Paul ended-up drenched as he helped the Bride and Groom get in to the Reception during the downpour (It’s wise to always keep a couple huge golf umbrellas handy). Springvale never looked nicer! They did an excellent job with the decor and lighting.
After dinner, we were able to sneak-off for a quick, intimate photo session on the outside deck. We’ll never forget this particular cake cutting or the Ian’s pre-garter-removal dance. Pretty hilarious!
What a fun couple and great family to work with. And boy can that Ohio University Hockey Team do some shots!
