Jenn + Dan – A Windy Day Catholic Wedding at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist with Reception at Landerhaven

It’s extremely difficult to sum up how we truly feel about Jenn and Dan.  The word “amazing” just doesn’t seem good enough to describe them.  They both have such a genuine, easy-going way about them that makes them so easy to love and get to know. It makes sense that they would have so many amazing family members and friends who fully support them.

One of two of my favorite moments during their day was in the morning when the girls were getting ready. Jenn’s parents’ home was filled to the brim with bridesmaids, family and friends.  Even though it was nearly impossible to move without running into someone, the vibe in the house was spectacular. Everyone was so full of warm, positive energy… it was completely infectious!

My second favorite moment of the day was at the beginning of their ceremony.  Dan let out THE LOUDEST sigh of relief that I have ever heard.  He was so adorably nervous prior to ceremony, but you could see all of his jitters melt away the moment he saw Jenn begin her walk down the aisle.  His emotions were so raw and genuine.

Those are the moments that get me and make our job the best!

Now, I can’t end this blog post just yet.  There is one last thing that I need to say.  I was wrong about something… audible gasp… I know right?

I have to admit that I was extremely uneasy about planning an entire photo session outdoors with projected temperatures being down in the low 50s coupled with super high winds and a large bridal party.  I tried to convince Jenn and Dan that “it might be a bad idea”, but they held firm to their ideas.  They were adamant about taking photos at Voinovich Park, in front of the newly minted Lebron James sign and outside of Progressive Field… and I am so glad that we did.  Each person in their 24 piece bridal party remained so friendly and cheerful throughout the entire session, even though it was freezing outside.  We were able to move in and out of each location quickly, while getting great shots along the way, thanks to a fantastic group of people who were not only attentive but willing to hop right on board our “crazy train” without even a second thought. Lol!

Congratulations again Jenn and Dan!  You two have such beautiful families and friends, and it was such an honor to be the ones capturing your memories of the day!!!! We love you both and we hope that you enjoy our favorites as much as we do!
