Leap Year Wedding Photography at Tenk West Bank in Cleveland
To all our faithful followers. Hump Day from the Mystic Image team! It’s during turbulent times like these where having a super positive disruption always helps to make the day brighter, and I have to admit that Nora and Joe’s Leap Year wedding images are a COMPLETE DISTRACTION!!! This photo-loving, fashion-forward couple were not only amazing in front of our cameras for their in-studio engagement session, but also totally brought their A-GAME on their wedding day.
Disclaimer: There are a lot of gorgeous photos from Nora and Joe’s wedding on this blog post. WAY more than I typically showcase. You may be stuck here on our blog for awhile.
As I had previously mentioned, Nora is the Event Planner at Tenk West Bank in the historical Cleveland Flats Entertainment District. Shooting the wedding photos of a seasoned event specialist is no easy task. I mean come on. Working in the wedding industry, we’ve seen it all. It can be extremely challenging to filter through all the concepts and looks, but luckily Nora is the type of individual who knows exactly what she wants and how to get it; which is why she and I get along so well. Thanks to excellent communication skills, we were able to fully understand the vibe Nora and Joe wanted create with their wedding photography and knew exactly how we would plan out their day.
Both Nora and I agree that creating a thorough timeline is a crucial component to being able to achieve any brides’ and grooms’ desires. Her and Joe’s timeline was no exception. Nora and Joe decided that they wanted to see one another for the first time on their wedding day as she walked down the aisle. This meant that we had roughly 30 minutes for group family photos at the altar and all the photos of just the two of them on location.
Yikes!
Although we were separated for most of the day and a little pressed for time, we were still able to create the most amazing, straight out of a fashion magazine images you could imagine. From their dark and edgy color palette to the outstanding 7-foot murals hand-painted by the groom, each detail of their day was perfectly set and precisely how Nora had described. But what truly brought the life into their images was how comfortable Nora and Joe were in front of the camera. Individually, you can see the confidence just oozing off them and when they’re together… watch out!!!
Nora and Joe, we are so grateful that you selected us to capture your not-the-norm, super-stylish wedding day. We had an absolute blast working with the two of you and your amazing family and friends. You make such a dynamic couple and we are excited to see what the future holds for the two of you… every four years?- lol. We hope that you are as obsessed with your images as much as we are. Enjoy! #tuckeverlasting
Xoxoxo,
Lana
